Chicken Tracker
Shepherd’s End
Spring 9, 1019
Peach asks a sailor about losing the lighthouse; he maintains that he didn’t lose it, that it literally moved from where it was supposed to be on the maps. Later, they overhear the mayor reassuring another sailor that the waters around here are perfectly safe.
They manage to spot and catch a blue chicken and return her to Old Man Fairfoot, brokering an agreement to receive five eggs in return for Alexander and the other two (still at large). As they investigate the farm, they spot an enormous clawed footprint near the busted part of the fence that the chickens escaped through.
Esmund, Kaisi and Ava are in charge of gathering metal and materials for the project Esmund has planned, and manage to get some from the forge and from Kibeth’s dad Kren after Ava makes a promise in her stead.
They all meet up at the mausoleum, and spot some chicken footprints.
