They beat down the attack and the two necroGivers, and in the patch-up realize the zombie bites are infectious, which Ava and Aureya treat. They realize these are definitely former residents of Myrwood.
Traveling onward, they decide to hit a small logging settlement north of Myrwood, which will delay them one day but might yield information or prove a hideout for any surviving townsfolk. On the way, they come across the tracks of patrolling undead and a line of wagons that had been attacked within the last few days to a few weeks, with tracks sprinting away and supplies abandoned.
Taking a few minutes to transfer some supplies to themselves, they then hustle after the tracks, only to run into an attack which they have just enough time to prepare themselves for before three giant humanoid zombies come sprinting in.
