Wood Elf with long dirty-blonde hair and bright brown eyes. The owner of the Wanderlust Tavern and mother of Peach, she has a wealth of wild stories about her travels before coming to the town. Though she is young when it comes to elves, the keepsakes of her adventures suggest she’s already seen much of the world. However, it has not gone unnoticed that Miranda did not travel north to serve the kingdom, which has blemished her reputation with the locals, despite her popularity with the travelers who come through town.
Killed by the Blue Laurel Pudding while protecting Ava. Her last words were, “Tell her I was a hero.”
Peach found her journals, which were filled with her adventures and much mention of a young woman, perhaps some kind of protege, named Kaylie.
While traveling through Myrwood, Salinger found a painting with a younger-looking Miranda standing behind a human woman with curly brown hair, the painting labeled “Miranda and Kaylie.”

In Endergaln, the woman with curly brown who had been in the oil painting with Miranda (but about a decade older than in the painting) showed up with Rhun Enkerig and his crew, and introduced herself as Miranda Pine. She last remembered slowly turning to stone under a cockatrice gaze and telling Kaylie not to be a hero, to run.
Peach shows her the painting Salinger found, and Miranda calls Peach’s mother “Kaylie,” which leads to Peach telling her that her mother went around calling herself Miranda Pine and telling all the stories as if they were her. This Miranda doesn’t seem to mind, since she was dead anyway. She tells Peach that she can continue to call her mom Miranda — it’s not a unique name, after all.
