"Rayford" and "Kina" posing as a couple to spy (by Kate Quimby)The crew enters Pashat, where Sylas & Carter, and Sav & Talith, go shopping. Astarael sabotages Swan ships in the harbor. Carter notices a man she used to know from her rebellion salons, Amon Vethrir, and they follow him to a manor.
After reconvening and discussing matters at the Hemlock Tavern, Sav attempts to discreetly scry, but makes a mistake and a random townie notices; Roux, Ethan and Athelia immediately go to do damage control, and probably succeed as they persuade the man of the existence of the player troupe the Goof Troupe. Sav, unaware, mostly finds a rich place and a man who looks troubled and stares into the fire with whiskey.
As they depart, they notice a commotion beginning at the harbor, where it turns out the Swans have discovered the sabotage and rude anti-Swan graffiti on their ships and are boarding and searching ships for contraband and rebels, as well as closing the port for a few days to do so. Astarael, Talith, Danica, Roux and Ethan head back into town, while Athelia, Carter, Sylas, Warbler and Sav continue onward toward the Tide’s Song and are detained by a Swan.

It wasn’t supposed to be this way. Honest! It was just gonna be a little stop at a little town - with little drinking, a little shopping and then quick as you can snap ya fingers, back on the boat and on to Galoring!
But that ain’t the way it went down. Oh buddy, that ain’t the way it went down at all.
The shopping and drinking all started out ok but things started taking a turn when the Wizard Girl tried to be sneaky and cast some magic in a crowded bar. I’d give it 1 in 20 that anyone coulda caught her in the act… but they did!
‘Long odds’ ain’t the same as ‘no chance,’ ya know?
Anyway, the gang managed to calm the fella down, eventually. Mr. Charmer used his gifts and got the guy good and settled and everyone walked away friends in the end. The gang even managed to drum up some interest in a fake act they pretended to have – something with a ridiculous name.
But, it was all for nothing.
Apparently, Lady Dark Hair had gotten bored, so she decided to start some “mischief.” And by “mischief,” I mean she sabotaged two Swan ships and literally carved “fuck the Swans” into the hull of the ship! Can you believe that?!
