Bun snack (by Sen Souvannavong)Salinger wakes up from a nap and comes downstairs, to the surprise of the others. Seyfried screams as she’s sucked into a Deathbrew Alchemist ooze. The rest run toward her and engage it in battle, splattering it and finding only armor that wasn’t Seyfried’s and a puff of rabbit fur, as well as signs that she entered the room and then never left.
There’s some double-checking and weird time/action shenanigans that mostly vanish and leave them with no explanations. Kibeth and Esmund, investigating the direction the Alchemist was going, see a flare go up; Esmund replies back with a Fire Bolt flare and they receive a responding flare a few minutes later, pretty far west.
After some discussion, they decide to leave the people out there to their own devices and retire comfortably to the tavern. After a couple of hours, they hear an explosion and see a blue flash to the west, sign of some kind of combat happening about an hour away.
