They fight and defeat the raiding party while the white pudding is shaking and warbling some strange spell. After the fight is over, it finishes its casting, and the corpses in the room twitch and jerk, skeletons ripping out of bodies and rising. Ixtalan helpfully directs the pudding toward the room she saw. Ava is furious, but overridden; instead, she decays the remainders until they’re dirt and covers them with blooms.
The next room has a greenish pool that fills the room, acid dripping from the ceiling to fill it. The riddle tablet:

Wake to the welcome of fresh food and drink
No lilting flower, though at a glance one might think
Quick on the draw, whether quip, or a shot
In service of others without a second thought
Care and fear oft go hand in hand
Though long we may wander, home is where we’ll land
They decide to rest.
Aureya and Kaisi talk necromancy. Kaisi thinks the Lux indictment against it is just the Verdicts controlling things. Aureya isn’t sure what to think about it.
As the room appears to be Peach’s, she steps up to the plate, literally, Misty Stepping across and playing a note that vibrates with the plates. The acid drains from the pool and the doors open up.
