The Prime: Aureya
Aureya slams into a room with a door that fades into rock, with these words: “Beyond this door, an angel in chains: an enemy of the Abyss.” A voice in her head says, “There isn’t much of me left here.”
The Place Between
In the entry to the temple, a shadowy multi-serpent-headed figure and a flying shadow shark greet Salinger and call him “the one who sees beyond.” It says it is the harbinger of what is to be, has he come to serve?
Peach is charming enough to persuade the Harbinger that they’re just trying to get home and mean no harm, and it disappears; however, the shark doesn’t. As they approach the steps, Sylas appears in the door, and Harbinger whispers to them to kill him. Peach has no idea who he is, but Sylas says he’s not there for them.
The Prime: The Rest
The group starts fighting against the two giant insects, taking one down before it can twitch but faring badly against giant hulking one. A giant auronachus-Esmund features briefly. Fayne gets downed, but saved by a healing potion before Ava can use necromancy on him.
