The Conspirators’ Tavern
First night of Autumn’s Turn, shortly after Sav leaves

Sav had fidgeted or scribbled more or less the entire time she’d sat at the bar, body afire with terrible liquor, brain afire with ideas (terribleness to be determined). She makes her farewells with a quick, jerky nod and skitters out of the door when the aasimar girl (A skyfolk! in true waking life! some part of her brain squeals again, but she’s managed to tamp the reaction down enough that she doesn’t actually say it) asks the newer acquaintances to leave so the older friends can confer in private.

In her wake, she leaves a folded piece of paper and two shot glasses stacked on each other and turned upside down on the paper. The bottom one glows with a clear, blue-white light, emanating from a glyph seemingly carved in light on the bottom of the glass. The top one looks otherwise ordinary. The paper folded beneath them is slightly yellowed and apparently torn from a larger collection. When the glasses are touched to pick them up or move them aside, her voice floats quietly up from the top glass, “Some ideas to consider.” The message repeats any time the top glass is tapped.

The bottom glass glows for another hour, then winks out, leaving behind an ordinary piece of drinking ware. The top glass goes silent a half hour after that, at the same time the diagrams on the paper disappear.
