Astarael, Ethan, Talith, Sav, and Vanja met in secret on the final day of the Autumn’s Turn Festival to discuss possible courses of action, highlighting several points of information and rumors.

It is said that several Northgate citizens have been condemned to execution the day after the end of the Autumn’s Turn Festival for treason and blasphemy (71 Autumn 217).

Additional miners and equipment have been requested by the Painted Swans to be sent to the northeastern mine controlled by the army in Jorung.

Sav had been living in the sewers during the majority of her time in Northgate and had discovered white-stone ruins that seem to be of Aasimar construction beneath the city. However, she was chased out of those ruins when her hiding place was discovered by The Inquisition.

A guarded shipment is being prepared to be sent from the northern Painted Swan mining operation in Jorung to the Painted Swan Headquarters in Northgate.

A squad of Painted Swan soldiers, lead by an inquisitor, departed from Northgate heading south, one week before the Autumn’s Turn Festival (57 Autumn 217).

The group decided that since Sav had been chased out of the sewers so recently, there was a chance they could intervene in whatever plans The Inquisition had in the ruins beneath Northgate.

Using a break in a dilapidated water-well in Dustown, Sav lead the group down into the sewers and through the winding and complicated system of natural tunnels and sewers, but the party soon came upon Painted Swan soldiers guarding a junction within the sewers.

The group made quick work of the initial sentries, but soon found themselves face to face with the powerful Inquisitor Farsteer, engaged the enemy in combat after Talith leapt out of their invisible hiding spot, and quickly found themselves poorly coordinated and outmatched. Forced to escape into the tunnels before they could be killed or captured, they destroyed the tunnel entrance behind them to avoid being followed.

Bruised and battered, they descended into harsh words and hard feelings, before being forced to split up and head in separate directions to avoid alerted Painted Swan patrols.
