The season-namer for Season 12 - Inquisition!
The military arm of the Church of the Kindled Flame in Isendel, tasked with hunting down and eliminating witchcraft wherever it might be found. Attained great prominence underneath Tyr Isendel’s reign as Baroness, especially as they started researching and using magic themselves. Worked hand-in-hand with the Painted Swans.
Largely eliminated as a force after the Briarbird Rebellion, with the aid of a conspiracy of witches, overthrew the Baroness and reinstated Alistair-Lin Isendel as Baron.
