Sav called a meeting of the conspiracy to reveal she had made a startling discovery regarding the Aasimar Artifact stolen from the Painted Swan Shipment on the northern road. Though the object is damaged, Sav was able to briefly activate it and found it to be in some way alive, though it did not seem to be aware of its surroundings or where it was. The object spoke in distorted celestial tones, offering some warning about impending danger, before once again becoming inert.
Sav and Aloysius go for a quick farewell run over the roofs of Northgate.Sav has concluded that the object that powers the device, a small blue orb which seems to be cracked and damaged, is the source of the problem and has implored the others to keep an eye out for another such object.
Ethan revealed rumors that three more inquisitors are being sent to Northgate with one arriving with the season and two more within the year. While the precise purpose is unknown, it seems reasonable that this is in response to the conspiracies activates and successes in the region.
Ethan also revealed that a party of surveyors had discovered an Ancient Ruin in the mountains 3 grasps (30 days) west of Northgate and that the information had been sold to the Harvey’s Digsmen Treasure Hunting Company a grasp (10 days) prior.
The party felt confident that the Painted Swans are concerned and focused on information related to the Aasimar Ruins and Aasimar Artifacts, further supported by Kelwin’s obsession with Danica Thorne, as well as Astarael’s torture and training at the hands of the Inquisition in Galoring, Capital of Isendel.
It was decided that the whole of the conspiracy would journey toward the Ancient Ruins in the west in an effort to discover its secrets before the Painted Swans and to look to make contact with the Jorungun Tribesmen after that task is complete.
Bax suggested an offering of food and weapons could be useful, and Ethan managed to steal a Master Greataxe from a guardsman of House Darclay.
The group made their preparations and departed from the City of Northgate with giant mountain goats packed with supplies on their way west into the Torbjaer Mountains and discovered signs of Skau Vanja’s travels in the region, who had departed some days prior in to track the Yeti of Jorung, a terrible beast which has been savaging townspeople, animals, and Painted Swans alike.
