Yarm and Tethir
The Swan Fort in the Torbjaers

The party continues to travel to the fort. Bax proves to be sharing his body with several personalities, switching unpredictably between them. Unable to deal with it, they tie him to a horse and gag him. They find two Swans, Yarm and Tethir, in the woods and interrogate them, accidentally killing one in the process. After dithering on what to do, they turn Tethir into a mouse and give him to Aloysius to dispose of far away. From the interrogation they find out a boy was brought to the fort and imprisoned.
The boy that was Bax is rather upset with his treatment, and the collective dreams that night and makes a compact to work together to survive the circumstances they find themselves in. After several of them talk with the team, Rethi tells them that Kelwin was unable to bring Danica through his portal, and that Talith actually is in the fort, but that the fort knows they’re coming and have orders to kill Talith rather than let him escape, if it comes to that.
The group arrives at the fort to find it seemingly affected by the Suffering. There is no other sign of life.
