Talith whispers creepily to Vanja (by Kate Quimby)Talith whispers creepily to Vanja (by Kate Quimby)Sav does more tests on Ethan (Message doesn’t work, Mind Sliver does), then asks if he can prepare her a poison pill. He says he’s willing to come get her if she gets taken, but she claps back and says maybe she’d be better off depending on her own abilities for that. She does ask him to kill her if she happens to be in that position and neither of them can get her out, and he agrees.

Sylas examines Vivian, trying to think of how to kill her, and eventually just goes to try and slit her throat.

Vanja gets a visit from Talith, but actually it’s the Suffering, whispering her insecurities to her and that no one came for her and no one cares, before suddenly disappearing and saying someone is meddling in things they don’t understand.

On deck, Talith appears behind Sylas as Vivian doubles over, blood pouring down her throat. Everyone appears and starts brawling with Suffering-Talith until he’s struck down by Vanja. Vivian thanks Sylas and disappears. The corruption disappears from Talith and he speaks as though normal.

Lost and Found (by Shaun McCallum)Lost and Found (by Shaun McCallum)Sylas examines Talith’s soul and demands to know his name, who he is, and Talith basically dares him to stab him, which makes Sylas stop in disgust and pronounce him “probably fine.”

Vanja is not fine with this and says it’s not him, but Astarael bars her and says if she touches Talith she’ll kill her. Athelia says they’ll keep a watch on Talith, tying Vanja up isn’t necessary.

Sav burns the mummified heart of Talith’s mother, which yes, first he (and then she) was keeping all this time, gross.
Girls' Night (by Kate Quimby)Girls' Night (by Kate Quimby)
Vivian, or rather now the Suffering in the shape of Vivian with eyes of blood-red, visits Vanja making hay of her punching bag in the infirmary and says see, Talith was right and nobody cares about her. Vanja tells her to bugger off and asks why she’s even there, she never knew her; Vivian calls her Worthy and disappears.

Campfire Synopsis of Felix Tabby
Felix lived many lives. He grew up on the streets of Galoring, an orphan like so many others. Fighting and clawing for scraps to survive. He ran with a gang for a short while but that surrogate family fell apart when the leader, Chester, was taken out by a belligerent shopkeep. Felix still thought about the old man every now then. Some said he’d been as old as fifteen when he was caught, but Felix figured he couldn’t have been more than twelve – thirteen, tops. The streets had a way of aging anyone…

Afterwards, Felix found his way to the harbor where he snuck aboard his first ship. He fell in love with the river almost instantly.

Most of his younger days were spent drifting up and down the river, jumping ship at one port or town along the way. Catching a ride was easy enough, and the crew usually welcomed you aboard so long as you pulled your weight.

Those younger days were long gone by now though. He was likely older now than Chester ever was. In all that time, he’d seen a thing or two. But nothing prepared him for the destruction he witnessed at Safe Harbor.

When the ship docked a short time later, he didn’t hesitate to climb aboard. Three people disembarked the ramp to investigate the town and one fat, old tabby made his way up. He may have been old, but he wasn’t ready to stay dead just yet; while he was certain it had cost him at least two lives, he was thankful to still have four paws and half his tail after that port town got wiped off the map.

Once aboard, it didn’t take long to get the sense that this ship was… different. And it only took a few days to confirm that just how different…

The broken girl with one eye was crying. That wasn’t unusual. Felix, for one, thought she would be less sad if she ate something. There was plenty of food about the place but she was all skin and bone.

Regardless, it wasn’t her mood that piqued his interest, but rather her company. There was a man there. Or, at least something that looked like a man. The two spoke for a long time. The girl cried. The looked-like-a-man had a disquieting smell that Felix didn’t like so he made his way to the top deck to clear his nose. While scurrying about, sneaking in the crawl spaces between barrels and crates, he spied another interesting encounter – this time between a man (who also had a strange air about him) and a girl. Or rather another thing that looked like a girl. The man attacked her but the looked-like-a-girl didn’t run; she didn’t even bleed. Not in a normal way.

Soon, the looked-like-a-man came up through the floor. Shouting and fighting ensued. Felix took cover.

It wasn’t long, only a matter of seconds, before the fighting died down. The odds were clearly against the looked-like-a-man who was outnumbered almost ten to one. Felix knew from his days in the streets that no one survives odds like those…

Once the fighting stopped though, yet another strange thing occurred. The looked-like-a-man became… well, a man. And the looked-like-a-girl disappeared completely. Some of those who were fighting moved to protect the new man. Others seemed more mistrustful. The red-haired girl cried.

So did some of the others.

Of all the ships he’d found his way onto, this one was by far the strangest. That old sense of curiosity he hadn’t felt since he was young was reignited. This may or may not be the final ship for Felix Tabby… but if it is, he thinks he’ll die satisfied.
