Astarael and Sav take out the rest of the warship, including escapees.
Roux, Talith, and Avarian manage to cast off the Tide’s Song (after taking lots of arrows).
At the prison, chaos reigns as spiders swarm the prison guards, making some of the guards believe one of their own is the cause and causing a mad scramble. Athelia, Warbler, the crew, and Sylas get out in the chaos and retrieve their stuff from the prison supply room, then escape out a break in the wall in the back.
In town, Danica finds Athelia and learns Westerley was taken to a physician; Carter and Danica send the prison pals off to meet behind the Hemlock, then manage to find Westerley and save him. Ethan rescues Vengeance.
They all manage to meet up with the rest of the Briarbird resistance in town and escape, meeting the Tide’s Song in a cove outside the city.
Sylas stabs Talith in the chest.
