Alinge’s Pass
Aureya faces being worshiped. (by Jessica Dru)Having escaped from the spider, they make their way to a village a day away from Blue’s tower, Alinge’s Pass. They find a statue of Aureya kneeling in a pond and other stone sculptures of three people at a campfire, including Xalati.
The town is celebrating the midwinter festival of Kibbus, where you leave snacks outside the door or else the Kibbus comes to snatch you away. There’s a giant statue of Kibeth in the center of town and a temple of Brunnhilde, inside which is a statue of Aureya and a riddle carved in stone, which they solve by means of twinned Guiding Bolts. A secret door in the wall opens up.
