Deep in the Daggered Rise
Ashen falls over and passes out, and the other Dreamers there recognize him from their Dreams. They strip him of his armor and start trying to warm him up.
Hark’ul has memories of his mother before he comes back to consciousness beneath a crust of snow.
Peach, on watch, sees a dot on her thumb flashing and sees Bax’s eye flash before there’s a sense of pressure and Talith comes back. He last remembers fighting the troll and nothing in between. He says Bax should be dead, it’s been like 250 years, but that he’s been there for about 7. He recognizes Ashen and mentions Hark’ul by name, but doesn’t know where he is. Sav tells Talith Ethan is there, but under a secret identity.
Squire tries to suss out Merrick’s goal, but doesn’t succeed, only finding out that Merrick started to believe Vesper’s visions over time; he tells him that he used to know some of these others from another lifetime.
Peach brings food over to Bax and asks him about his eye, but he has no idea what she’s talking about, and confesses for some reason:
Ashen wakes and recognizes the others from the dreams. Vesper and Icana (recovered by Merrick) are burned. Bax, Talith and Sav have a moment of reunion. While Ashen, Mosrael and Squire scout ahead, they start to heard what sound like horns, then realize it’s bestial howling.
