Turn Around
The Tide’s Song
32 Autumn 218
Danica cleans Sylas up after his beating (by Sen Souvannavong) Sylas tests his strange reading power on the feather with Danica, and they get pelted by visions of Danica’s mother, fighting a Fade Beast, younger versions of the parents of many of the AC children, and Anavyn’s disappearance as she combines the essence of herself and Danica’s two fathers into Danica. Danica’s own memories bleed through, as well. Beyond all of it, they see a starry feminine figure with wolf ears and a third eye, which Danica’s seen before and Nurie’te, when questioned, calls “Speechless.”
An aftereffect has Sylas and Danica see Tyr in the throne room and Holland Blackwood in a ship cabin, presumably the only other people with a feather in the world.
They lay out some plans the next day and decide to turn around to try and find Inquisitor Blackwood.
Sav officially entrusts Nurie’te to Danica should anything happen to her.
Roux tells Athelia about a plan he has to bring them into the Feywild if they should really need an emergency escape; they accidentally bring a shred of the Feywild into the Prime as they practice the song.
