Her Lord Tyr Isendel was said to be a woman of focused ambition and dedication to the sovereignty of the barony. She ascended the throne in the year 207 and within just a few years had subjugated every rebelling lord within Isendel who refused to recognize her succession. The death of King Aymondane of Ithar signaled the break of what had already been a growing tension and within months of his death the Painted Swans, the army of Isendel, began conquest into the surrounding baronies of Ithar, Moraeth, and Jorung.
It was revealed that she orchestrated the ambush that killed her elder brother Alistair’s wife and child, and has since revealed a marked interest in everything Aasimar, instigating wars against surrounding lands to capture aasimar ruins. She captured witches and groomed them to become soldiers for herself, using dark magics to invade and crush spirits and minds; Astarael was one such, and taken to her bed as well, until she woke to the cruelty Tyr was asking her to perform and fled with the help of Eirlys. At the time of her death, Tyr had imprisoned and experimented on various nonhuman sapients, including a humanoid with tentacles for a mouth, and was building a device to reach the Octurne.
Season 14 - The White Crown
It was revealed that in Ashen’s world Tyr Isendel had suborned and kept Astarael Belree under her thumb, and had sent her to subjugate Moraeth in her name. She was also still alive when the White Tower fell and when the Breaking occurred nine months later (a shorter time span in between than in the conspirators’ world).
