Known as the Stone Tower. Once belonged to wizard Jamalamin Silental, was destroyed. It once had the power to travel between planes and places, and still carries planar and chronomantic echoes, explaining its haunted reputation.
The chronomancer Desmun occupied it once, snatching baby versions of himself to research ways to stave off the end of the world, until the Verdicts tracked him down and destroyed him and his work, while Mulgwud Clockwright and Gwin Clockwright snatched the latest baby version of him and hid in Shepherd’s End.
The Shepherd’s End kids came there in 1019AC and discovered Esmund’s origins, recovered a version of Salinger Morel from a device there and brushed up against Paradox in doing so, made contact with Sav via Desmun’s chronophone and unsuccessfully tried to swap Ixtalan for Xalati. In the end, they decomposed the fetal Desmuns that never quite made it but were stored in jars there, like the creepy creep Desmun was.
