Ixtalan Khetza Vekhir
Age 18 Born 72 Fall, 1001 AC Species Yuan-ti Height 6’1” Gender Female Origin Shepherd’s End, The Kingdom of Lux Appeared Season 13 - Shepherd’s End
Older (at the time) dead twin sister of Xalati Vekhir. Should be dead and young, ain’t neither (last anyone saw her before she got Banished back to the Pale Lands).
Died at the age of ten at sea, fallen overboard and drowned and eaten by the mate of the Deeplurker Xalati and the rest of the Shep’s End kids would later meet. Found herself in the Pale Lands, totally alone in the emptiness, until she encountered Sylas. They found a Door out of the Pale Lands into the Place Between, and ended up wandering there for a time, coming across and helping Ava and Seyfried when those two slipped in-Between lest they get crushed by a falling auronachus. She wanted to cross over, but couldn’t.
Later she encountered more of them again as they were making their way back through fractured realities toward (presumably) their own. Kaisi Feldspar told her to come with them, since she so clearly wanted to, though Sylas warned against it and said it was impossible, anyway. She took his hand and managed to step through, back into their reality, where she found herself suddenly older — as though she’d never died, and had grown up there — and possessed of memories and skills she hadn’t known she’d had. But no sign of Xalati.
Eaten alive (pun unintended) by the thought that maybe her attempt to return had forced Xalati to stay, she sought a way back to the Between to try and find her again, making no bones of her prioritizing that over the world itself. When, in order to recover Peach and Salinger, Esmund changed the Door in the Temple of the Maiden Thrice to the Place Between, she bolted toward the Door, and Ava Banished her back to the Pale Lands before she could reach it.
There she came to the realization that all of her memories and abilities she had assembled together from other realities, and she herself at root—if such a thing can be determined—was still just a ten-year-old dead girl.
Hasn’t been seen post-Breaking.
